In our 10th year, TEDxAsburyPark is the largest, highest rated, longest running TEDx on the US East Coast. In 2017 - 2019, at the Paramount Theater in AsburyPark, we hosted an annual audience to experience 25 TED Talks and performances expressing ideas worth spreading.

In the 2021 - 2022 season, we are hosting online events in Zoom as follows:

• April 22- Three 10-minute comedies by Jason Furlani
• May 6 - "The Joy of Relationships", with Gary Lewandowski, Marie Lewis, and Andrea Syrtash
• May 13- Warm Readings of 3 New Plays
• Summer, Fall, & Winter - 1act.1idea. Plays and play readings on Zoom.

On May 7, 2022, we will sell out the Two River Theater Red Bank, NJ, for both a live and simulcast party audience, with receptions before and after the all day event (900am-730pm).

And then - if you wish - we can design and produce another season for 2022 - 2023.

We learn a lot, have a lot of fun, and our team is quite social. There's no greater satisfaction than seeing our talent deliver TED Talks and performances live and in Zoom for an appreciative audience. Or seeing our videos receive 6,000,000 views on YouTube as they spread great ideas. 

You will  meet friendly, open minded people, learn new skills, and make new friends. 

The requirements for joining the team are that you wish to deliver about one hour a week of work year-round, a few more hours when you're working on an event, especially leading up to our annual May event, and to commit  through Jun 30, 2022. 

Seven teams lead by two co-captains organize the work. Each co-captain holds his/her/their own meeting periodically on Zoom. The core-co-captains meet monthly for an hour. All of us use Basecamp and Google Workspace (formerly Google/G Suite) to communicate and manage our productions.
